Alycia Jurgela, LCMHC, LPC
Alycia Jurgela House, LCMHC, LPC started her first program in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2013 after several years working for the Division of Child and Family Services. Alycia opened Texas Family Support in Collin County, Texas in 2017 and opened Sagamore Counseling in 2019.
Alycia is a graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston, MA and received her Master's in Professional Counseling at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT. Born into the Boston Foster Care system in 1976, she has a unique perspective of foster care and adoption. She opened the program in dedication of her adoptive father, Dr. Jurgela Ph.d., who dedicated his life to helping individuals and was a pioneer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.
She is committed and passionate about improving the lives of young people in our community and providing wellness programs for families raising high risk youth. She believes it takes a village to support a child through trauma, loss or displacement.
The Utah House is committed to changing the lives of those we serve through various support groups, community partnerships, therapeutic school programs and 24/7 therapeutic support. The amazing team is dedicated to providing the high quality programs and support to help children thrive and live to their fullest potential.
We have multiple therapist who are fully licensed or working toward licensure.
